Medical Information System
Formerly known as
Abacus Technology, Maestro is the most preferred tray-tracking system in
healthcare industry that provides both small clinics and large hospitals with
tools to organize workforce planning, advance tray assembly on basis of cases
and communicate warnings about inventory issues which are operated by IBM
Watson Analytics. Because of its flexible pricing schemes based on various
requirements, budgets and instrument contracts, Maestro is now opted by over
550 hospitals around the globe.
This is mainly because
the program uses InterSystems IRIS for Health which is the only data platform
in the world that is specially designed to extract values from health data to
create scale-breaking and information-rich health applications. Besides this,
it also uses InterSystems HealthShare, an
interoperability platform that normalizes, aggregates and deduplicates data
from longitudinal and standardized papers for individual patients.
Recently, InterSystems’ long-standing customer, Harris Healthcare has upgraded its comprehensive, integrated, patient-centered Harris Flex Electronic Recording System to take advantage of InterSystems IRIS for Health.
The updated platform migration has now
improved the overall functionality, scalability and performance of Harris Flex
in a way where physicians can now serve better for their patients by improving
data exchange and communication within the care continuum. This migration has
also opened up to Harris Flex to explore advanced functionalities and built-in
features such as data layout, open analysis and expandable Fast Healthcare
Interoperability Resource (FHIR) repositories.
